treo 650 on cingular?

There has been quite many discussions about the new treo 650 and what networks it will be available on. Seems like someone got a hold of a memo from cingular that says it will be on there.

If this holds true, I am not switiching over to Sprint or someother network. It seems like the 2 networks to have them will be Sprint and Cingular.

Aw man, I hope it's cingular too. The only reason I'm on them is b/c of the damn roll over minutes.

please please please.

TiVo + netflix

TiVo, one of the personal video recorders around and easiest to use, has partnered up with netflix.com. This is some great news and gives some great opportunities for these two companies.

With blockbuster fast approaching on netflix's coveted all-you-can-eat video rental, of which I am ashamed to admit, I am a part of now, and I like it, granted they don't have the extensive library as netflix. I like it for the fact that I can return a movie and get a new on instantly. well almost instantly, since I have to choose one. But it works really well.

Anyhow, with this parntership, it would mean that we can download movies and watch as we please. This is going to be true video on demand!

xbox 2 peripherals to work on pcs

This isn't big news as most of todays gaming peripherals work on the pc and the system via the usb port, but this just fully solidifies perihperals position. This really will help me save money buying gaming gear for my systems and computers.

What can you do? MS's new xbox will be coming soon and is still rumored to be based on Motorola's pcprocessor which is the same one used in the G5's. This wouldnt be a shocker as that chip is really powerful. Plus MS is using ATI as the graphic chip processor. I still wish they stayed with NVidia. But that's my decision. I still want Windows Longhorn to be out right now, so I can have some great tools similar to Apple's OSX.

But I can still dream.

history of the transformers

Take a look at this compelling history of the transformers. You read right! THE T RANSFORMERS!

The guy who wrote this watched every single episode and back story. Reading this reminded me of how much I loved watching this cartoon and having all of the toys!

Let's transform!

Here's an excerpt:

In the beginning, in dimension filled with life energy, called Zone Energy, there was only one Spark (or Lasercore), spawned from primal energies of that plane. The Original Spark (or Lasercore) had the ability to merge with any machine and become its central nervous system in order to give that machine life. Its offspring shared this ability. It divided into several smaller sparks, each possessing unimaginable power. Some of these sparks were violent and territorial, while others were peaceful and benevolent and shunned their brutal siblings. Many of the brutal sparks left the Zone Dimension, spread out across the universe, while the benevolent ones remained behind, growing in wisdom and knowledge.

The violent sparks devoured all life and destroyed all matter they encountered, growing stronger and stronger. When there was no matter left to devour they turned on each other. Most were destroyed or devoured by a powerful, dark spark. Some of the violent ones fled to other dimensions to escape the dark spark. Evetually all matter was destroyed and all life in the universe devoured, and that was left was the dark spark. Finally contented, the dark spark slumbered.

As it slept, the cosmic fragments of destroyed matter reacted with each other and created a new universe. The many of the benevolent sparks left the Zone Dimension and nurtured the newborn life that was growing in the universe.

Eventually, the dark spark awoke, and without questioning how this new universe came to be, began destroying and devouring anew. Most of the benevolent sparks were destroyed or devoured by the dark spark.

The most powerful of the benevolent sparks was found by an alien named Primacron, who named it Primus. As the Spark developed, Primus proved to be very powerful. Primus developed the power to reproduce without diminishing his own essence, unlike his siblings which multiplied by dividing, splitting into perfect duplicates of the parent (but with only half the strength and power of the parent Spark [or Lasercore], and thus giving their offspring common memories. Primus' children were individuals with no memories prior to creation. He found favor in the Primacron's sight. Primacron made Primus his assistant. Primacron would build magnificent robots (he even designed a body for Primus to inhabit) and Primus would fill them with life. Primus' joy grew greater and greater as more of his offspring came to life.

Primacron & Primus had worked together for many years upon a special project: a small planetoid that would fuel itself off of space debris, called Unicron, that could also transform into a robot. As the project neared completion, the dark spark found them. Primus battled the dark spark, but the dark spark was too powerful. Primus tricked the dark spark into merging with the Unicron body, trapping the dark spark within it, but also forging a psychic link between the two.

Primacron, unaware of the dark spark's existence, sees Unicron transform of its own accord. Primacron tries to override his creation, but to no avail. Unicron turns it's full fury upon Primacron's lab. Primus' body was destroyed, as well as his children. Primus, seeking to draw Unicron away from Primacron, fled, and led Unicron on a chase across the Galaxy. Primus finally hid within a large metallic, too large for Unicron to ingest. Frustrated, Unicron drifted away, to devour more and grow larger.

But Primus was not alone. Inside the planet lived metallic monsters, who devoured the very metal of the planet, as well as any other creature that happened to fall within their grasp. They attacked Primus, but were no match for him. Primus, unwilling to destroy another living being, placed the creatures into a deep sleep and entombed them deep within the planet.

Primus, sensing the mental link that he and Unicron shared, went into a trance, in the hope that he would remain hidden Unicron, perhaps even thought to be dead, until he was ready to face the dark spark again.

Millions of years passed. Unicron grew larger & larger with every meal. While journeying across the Galaxy, devouring planet after planet, Unicron decided on a new course of action. He found a race of sentient organic invertebrates on a planet the he was soon to devour. With some consideration, Unicron decided to use these creatures to his advantage. They had a very high intelligence potential, but were very weak bodied. He took them all and reformed them into Cyborgs, half-organic, half mechanoid. He placed into their unconscious minds to seek out Primus' planet and destroy anything resembling a Lasercore, or Spark, that they discovered and after preparing them for space travel, sent them off into the Galaxy. Unicron wiped their minds of any knowledge of himself, their homeworld or their "creation".

The Quintessons after thousands of years discovered and colonized the planet. They were merchants and capitalistic industrialists, so they mined the planet's ores, and rebuilt the planet into a gigantic factory. They named it Cybertron.

the downfall of ATT Wireless

ATT Wireless, the once dominant force in the cellular industry has been bought out by Cingular. You can read the many downfalls that happened at that company, from not buying or merging with other companies sooner to choosing the wrong cellular service. I remember the days of TDMA. I knew that CDMA would take off as well as GSM. CDMA rocked the world when Qualcomm went and took it to South Korea and made it the standard there. When I lived there, you could do so much with the cell phones b/c there was a standard. The handset technology was very advanced. Unlike here.

But I digress. ATT made a lot of costly blunders from trying to create too many brands, like mlife (what the heck was that? I remember seeing a superbowl commercial for that and just not understanding what it was), then UTMS. WTF? As well as purhcases that weren't necessary like new corporate jets and what not.

But the real reason is that their customer service sucked! And it still sucks! But what can you do? Leave! Thats what happened when the FCC said that you can take your old number with you. They called it the ATT Exodus.

But thats life. Read more about it in this article.

new, smaller ps2

Sony has launched their new, leaner playstation 2. They won't be changing the name, it simply will be the new PS2. It sits at 1 inch thick, whereas the original one sits at 3 inches thick. It also boasts an ethernet port and for US models it will also have a modem port. This is great for broadband gaming since you dont have to buy the broadband adapter.

The price for the player will also remain the same at $149.

yahoo launches own music store

Yahoo plans on launching their own music store later in the 4th quarter. Yet another online music service. Wtf? I guess this can be great but until we can get everyone to play nicely it's going to be hard to really do something about it.

I mean, could you imagine if cd's did this when that technology came out? Having certain cd's play on certain players? It would have been retarded and the reach of cds wouldn't have been that great. I think the same thing is happenging with online music. If there was a way to make everyone use apples itunes then we'd all be happy!

Seriously...Apple's iTMS coupled with their iPods has really done a lot. Its just simple to use that even my grandmother knows how to use it! Other players have awkward navigation and the site to buy music is so convuluted and just plain user-unfriendly that I don't ever want to switch. But there are times when I do want to jump to another site b/c they have certain songs in their catalogue that iTMS doesn't have.

We'll see what happens in the years to come. Yahoo, MSN, I'll rue the day when google decides to sell music!

treo 650 on sprint?

It seems like Mossberg has noted that the new treo 650 will most likely come in October as many have stated. But he also noted that it would be for 1 carrier until 2005. This most likely means that it will come to Sprint first which blows. I was hoping to be able to use it on my cingular account. All I want is this phone with a wifi card. Too bad it won't come with it built in, but oh well. Guess I'll just have to use a wi-fi card since it will have an SDIO.

Oh boy....october....late october....oh boy.

funny palmone analogy

This hilarious analogy brought to you by treonauts.

Irreverent Thoughts: Does pa1mOne need Family Counseling?

I'm very concerned for the health of the Palm Family, these days - particularly in light of a possibly fast-growing Treo family. Bear with me, and consider the following:
  • They used to produce healthy children (Pilot, IIIx, Vx)
  • They used to seek out counsel from the relatives (we, the Users)
  • They would incorporate the best ideas to developing the kids into attractive, productive members of society
But now:
  • They've legally changed their name and divorced from their mate (PalmSource)
  • They haven't had a child in a long time, seem to have hit an evolutionary wall, and are now simply cloning
  • The newer kids are having a lot of physical issues (cracks, chipping paint, defective earpieces and screens)
  • Their brightest new child (the Treo 600), was delivered by surrogate (Handspring). Should it have been called the in Vitro 600?
  • Handspring nourished the Treo 600 by creating a community awareness and identity long before the birth...pa1mOne won't even acknowledge the Treo 650's existence (maybe it's code-named 'Bastard'?)
What's needed:
  • A Family Gathering: pa1mOne has to start reading blogs and sites like this, get out to meet the users and actively seek owner feedback
  • A global perspective: I'm a Yank, and will be the first to admit that pa1mOne's current 'vision'(?) doesn't seem to care about the different buying criteria that exists for such products in Europe and Asia (WiFi, anyone?)
  • Digital Viagra: Obviously, no one is too inspired in the bedroom anymore. A boost is required to get the juices flowing again
  • A road-map for the kiddies: try to figure out what neighborhood they will live in, what other kids they will play with, what they should be when they grow up...BEFORE YOU HAVE THEM!
  • Hand-me-downs: There is no reason that the sibs can't use the elder kids' old stuff (accessories!). It is abusive and insensitive to expect us to buy a brand-new set of clothes and toys every time we adopt a new child of yours. Standardize!!!
Innovation, leadership and daring all used to be the family heritage of all Palm's - a family that I love and care deeply for. Now, the terms sterile, in-bred, mongoloid and second-rate come to mind. Obviously, either pa1mOne needs to have a wild affair, or get religion in a big way if they are to keep the Family together. What do you think, Treonauts?
This post kindly contributed by PJ Arts who will undoubtedly be one of the first people to buy the next and next and next addition(s) to the Treo family...

graphical buddies

The founder of There.com has brought out some new things called IMVU. Basically graphical buddies. I remember this...back in the 90's there used to be chat rooms with these animated characters that we chatted through....wtf!? Did I go back in time and take my broadband with me?

Seriously, whats the point of having a graphical 3-d buddy as my icon? I don't even remember the last time i even used one. If yer going to use a pic, why not use your own? Seriously. I can't imagine this being fun for kids and for niche areas like...i dunno...pedophiles?

We'll see if this catches on at all. AOL seems to want to bring it out to after they tested it for the past few months.

vodafone launches their own rim phone

Vodafone UK has launched their own RIM blackberry phone, 7100v. It's just like the 7100t here from t-mobile, except, by Vodafone and its grey. The cost is really great too, because it goes from free to $200. You can't beat that.

This is really interesting and really great for the smart phone market since it means that the trend will be going towards the smart phones. I hope Palm gets with it and busts out a really kick ass treo line of phones because I really want their 650. And I hope they make it a wee bit cheaper, I mean, for the phone who will want to spend $600 for a phone when you can get a laptop for $800? I know, those of you that don't want carry a bunch of crap around, but it's all good. It'd be worth it for me too, but if it was just a tad bit cheaper, like say $300 or $400, I'd buy it for everyone in our office.

But anyhow, the RIM phone looks pretty good for the price, except as ususal its not a treo. But for what it can do its great, although it lacks an expansion slot.

The cost here is what I think will really get this phone out there.

ipaq h6315 for t-mobile

T-mobile finally launched the hp iPaq h6315 which is the pda phone hybrid. It has a bigger screen than the treo and it runs the pocket pc 2003 phone edition.

This doesnt look too bad, but its pretty damn bulky. If you can connect to the t-mobile site let us know what you think about it if you get a chance to buy it.

sims 2 launched

The ever growing narcisist in you can now have more fun playing Maxis' SIms 2. It now has better graphics and gives you more control over their lives as well as consequences. According to this article at cnet, the characters will have memories so if they have bad experiences they can possibly grow up to be buttheads. But that's really cool.

I wonder if they will sell their engine to psychologists so they can plug ins ome real life situations and see if someone will become a murderer or something. Wouldn't it be something if we saw this as a tool on Law and Order?

treo 650 coming soon?

Looks like the treo 650 will be coming soon to a store near you. According to some rumors at the treo sites, there is a tentative launch date of oct. 22. This would be awesome, as the treo 650 has an upgraded screen to 320x320, possbily BT, maybe wi-fi, or at the least, it'll have an sdio slot. A new keyboard arrangement and some other goodies like a replaceable battery.

I can't wait for this to come out, as I will defiintely buy it!

Sony's new digicam + vids

Sony has come out with a new product that mixes digital camera plus camcorder. It looks to be pretty decent, but we'll see when people start testing the product out. But at $600 it's not bad to have. It will use MPEG 4 compression and be great for those times when wanting to shoot some video. I have a DSC-p9 that does some video as well, but they are always grainy b/c of the compression used.

wow, the true power of the internet

Apparently there is some speculation about the Bush memo from the Nat'l reserve. Check out this cNet article. It's really quite interesting, b/c this really shows the power of the internet at its best, b/c it's bringing people together to share information but also to eradicate some non-truths by finding them and hunting it down. This would have been impossible pre-internet to do at such speed.

girl firend tricks

This was taken from my friend Chris's blog. Pretty funny and oddly informative stuff.

every year, millions (yes millions) of guy's are killed by girlfriends, for what is deemed as no apparent reason. these y chromosome protectors are wrongfully accused of insensitivity, forgetfulness, and infidelity and as a result suffer torment, pain, and death by their female slave drivers. in hopes to help protect my fellow kinsmen, i have developed (in conjunction with the monkeys of uzbekistan) this girlfriend survival tip kit, in hopes to help my brothers out.

so if you're a female...stop reading. this is not for you! go read your feminine magazines, or go have pillow fights, or paint your nails, or fight for woman's rights or whatever you girls do - cause this one's for the fellas

shoulder pads
no, not the football kind - but the old 80's woman's clothing shoulder pads. except you're not going to use it on your shoulders, you're gonna use them on your biceps - cause let's face it, if there's one place girls are gonna slap, pinch, or grab while she giggles, pouts, or gets hoppin pissed, it will be there. you can find these shoulder pads in your mom's closet - just look for clothes under "80's"
DO NOT: use the shoulder pads against her. it will be tempting, now that you have huge biceps to battleram her like a goat, but try to resist. also, don't put the shoulder pads on your chest either. yeah, just don't do that.

back-up present
i know it's not your anniversary, i know it's not christmas, or her birthday, nor is it the "important" anniversary of the first time you shared a milkshake together - but get her a present now and then store it somewhere. i kid you not - you'll thank me later. every boy scout knows that it's best to "be prepared". and if you're like any other guy, there will be a day when you forget her birthday, your anniversary, and even christmas. Let alone the day she's having a miserable day - how 007 would it be if you whipped out a pre-wrapped present and totally made it look like you planned the whole thing.
DO NOT: get her a present that simply doesn't fit her. examples - clothing (trust me, no matter what, you do NOT know her size) in addition, tickets to WWE smackdown, isn't exactly her idea of a night out.

packs and kits
can't think of a good present? and will your wallet commit suicide if it tried getting that stupid LV bag she wants? one type of present girls love are presents that have time and thought into them. for example, if you were to just buy her a DVD of her favorite movie - that's sweet and all, but make it into a pack or kit. throw in some popcorn, some candy, maybe some pajamas - bam you made a whole kit and a much much better present.
DO NOT: mix with random objects. for example with her favorite DVD if you got her a He-man action figure, some pencils, and korean ginseng - it simply would not make sense and instead she'll see that you found all this stuff in your house and you put it in a grocery bag to give to her.

colors
when it comes to colors, it's a known thing that guys are color-blind. we do not know how to match. it's just a fact. this is where the gal pal comes in handy. look through all 5 of your friends and hope that there's a girl in there somewhere. when picking any gift that has color in it, always consult her first - either take a picture of it, or bring her with you.
DO NOT: ask your gal pal who also happens to be an international runway model. that's just dumb. might as well just look at your girlfriend in the face, give her the flourescent green and dark purple purse you bought her and tell her she's ugly.

learn the monthly terminology
you know what i'm talking about right? yes that's right, the big "." the monthly visitor of your girlfriend that will wreak havoc and menace to you for a week. granted - sometimes you may not see the ill effects of it - but it's fooling you - it's only hibernating. in any event - learn everything about the 'bandages' associated with it. from the wings to the scented and unscented to the brand names (yes, brand names are important even on this level) to even learning what toxic shock syndrome is. that way on that unfateful day when she's in so much pain that she can't go out and get it herself she will send you, oh brave messenger, to fetch it for her. and trust me - nothing is worse than looking clueless in that aisle at your local supermarket.
DO NOT: tell her to "get it yourself!" then you can count on losing an appendage.

hallmark notes
ever hear that phrase "when there's something to be said, someone already said it better?" well take advantage of it. let's face it- we're terrible at words. if it's up to us we would be happier just grunting and screaming "yeaaaaah" most of the time. so when it comes to coming up with the right words - take notes. and there's no better place than going to your local hallmark store and going to the "love" cards and just reading up on that stuff. while you're at it - buy a card and then copy all the words from the surrounding cards and write it into that card. BAM - instantly you have a uber love card.
DO NOT: accidently pick up a "You're over the hill" card. and also make sure you know how to read.

the little things
memorize the little things about her. they are totally different from us - we care about the big expensive electronic things - they care about the little things. memorizing her whole face, where her house is, stuff like that - not important. but girls love it when you remember the little things - like her favorite childhood doll, the last book she really liked (extra points if you read it too), or counting how many different ways she pouts.
DO NOT: memorize something that she sees as a flaw - "i love that little hair sticking out of that mole on your forehead." yeah - don't mention that.

never leave it up to her
for some reason the X chromosome lacks a special gene in it. and that's to make decisions. give a girl a menu or choices to restaurants or choices to movies - and i guarantee you - you will be staying home as she's still pondering what to do. they do not know how to pick something. luckily you have a Y chromosome on your belt which gives you the power to make decisions in no time. however, fight that first initial inkling to pick tater tots at the deli down the street while watching "sorority girls and the serial killer" with her, but decide on what she would like. that's right - you make the decisions - just cater it to her. and then after the date's over, grab your buddies and go watch "sorority girls and the serial killer."
DO NOT:forget to bring her. after you do all this planning and decision making it will be easy to forget why you're doing it. before you know it - there you are watching sleepless in seattle - by yourself.

and honesty
i took a survey a while back to find out what women look for in a man first - and it was honesty. let's admit it - there's a lot of jerk guys out there ruining it for nice guys like us. so we gotta bring balance to all of this and be the ones that shine. yes - she will continue to pick the bad boy, and she will continue to be with the guy that mistreats her - but there's the saying "nice guy's finish last". and that's absolutely right - those are the guys that all girls end up with.
DO NOT: mention the fact that you still live with your parents and you're unemployed. it's technically still honest if you take the 5th.

pc dvd jukebox

This was taken from Kevin Rose's site. We all know him and love him as the Dark Tipper from The Screen Savers.

-------

I'm a minimalist. I throw away my CD jewel cases in favor of a binder, and I use KVMs in place of multiple monitors. For me, the less the better. So in my quest to consolidate everything, I recently ripped my entire DVD collection to create the ultimate PC DVD jukebox.

Saving Space -

Dual layer DVDs (most movies) can hold up to 8.5GB of data. That much information can fill any new hard drive with a quickness. So, if you really want to create a DVD jukebox, you need to figure out a way to shrink down the data while maintaining video quality.

Removing Content -

Almost all DVDs sold today come with a bunch of extra features you really don't need. Do you really need the French dubbed version of your DVD? You may not, but it's still on the disc taking up space. I started out by taking an 8.2GB DVD and removing the all of the dubbed content, special features, and director's commentary. The disc is now only 6.2GB and maintains the original video and audio quality. I prefer the removal process over recompressing the DVD as it doesn't compromise video quality. I want my jukebox to be as good as their original DVD counterparts.

How to do it –

So how do you remove extras? I use an application called DVD Decrypter. DVDD allows you to choose the content you want, and save it down to a single (non-compressed) .iso file. Now we have our newly created .iso file, but what do we do with it? In order to trick your PC into thinking you just inserted a fresh DVD, we have to create a virtual drive from the .iso file. We accomplish this by using a utility called DAEMON Tools. Once installed, you simply right click on the .iso file and choose mount. In my case, this created an e:\ drive; tricking the PC into thinking it has an additional DVD-ROM.

Playing the Movie –

<>Now that your PC thinks there is a movie in the e:\ drive, simply fire up your favorite DVD player and start watching. I personally don't like watching DVDs on my PC, so I send my movies out through my ATI All-In-Wonder directly to the TV. All in all, I was able to fit over 50 DVDs onto my 400GB HD.

Netflix + tivo = ooohhhh aaaahhhh

Newsweek has an artivle that speculates on netflix and tivo partnering up to provide downloadable movies and tv. This would really help me in my quest to have the ultimate entertainment at my finger tips. I wonder what the details would be like, probably they will have some sort method of deleting the movies from your tivo when you want another one, and wrap it around some sort of security. In any case, this would be really awesome!

Large plastic cup

Ok...this will be waaaayyyy off topic. I want to know if anyone knows where I can buy a really large cup. I used to have this 64 oz plastic cup, like the one you get at 7-11, except it was a thick clear blue double walled plastic cup. I bought it at a conrning ware sale, but they apparently don't make those anymore. If anyone has any idea where to get this I'd be really happy!

The Anti-sneaker

I just bought a pair of Blackspot's anti-sneaker. I think what they are trying to do is really great, which is make conscientious shoes. This shoe is made of hemp and some other natural stuff. You can check out their website for details. One of the main things about the sneaker isn't just the materials that make up the shoe, but also who makes them. Kalle Lanzs the founder of the adbusters.org wanted to create a shoe that wasn't made by kids or have bad working conditions, like some other shoe companies. So he came up with blackspot which is an anti-logo.

It's pretty interesting. I've always wanted a shoe that didn't have any logos on them, as many people that know me, know, I don't like wearing clothes with labels names brazenly written on them. So this is pretty interesting.

I'll have my review as soon as I get it. They say that it will take about 8 weeks for the shoes to arrive, so I'll get it around thanks giving, it looks like. I hope to get them earlier and try them out.

I hope they're comfy as heck too! We'll see.

RIP to ACCLAIM

Once great game make Acclaim has filed for bankruptcy. cNet has a short write up about what happened. Could it have been because they made so many bombs? Mismanagement?

Another one bites the dust. Who will be next? Even thuogh the gaming industry is getting bigger and bigger, I think that most hardcore gamers as much as they love the games, would like to see more updates to games instead of waiting like 5 years for the next iteration like the Doom series. Even Halo. Granted they try and top the previous edition, I'd love to get games and then buy updates to them for like $10 or something to add levels and enhance whatever they can. I hate buying a game only to beat it then have it sit there....gathering dust or reselling to my local game stop for pennies on the dollar. WTF!? Or you can just resell them on amazon.com.

too much tech!

Watching tv I saw a commercial for a new Gillette razor that you put a battery in and it's supposed to help get a closer shave. WTF!? I mean, why not just get an electric shaver?

I love technology and I must admit, I am a tech junkie, with loads of stuff in my bag and tons of crap in the drawer. But lately I've been noticing that companies are putting 'tech' in everything they can, to increase margins or something. Whatever the reason, it's getting really annoying. My personal space has gotten over run with this crap, and you know what? People have gotten ruder!

A couple of things is wi-fi and mobile phones. First off, wi-fi. As much as I love this and as much as I use it, I beleive that there is a time and place for this stuff. Coffee shops, great place to have it. When's a bad time to use it? When you have company! I've noticed so many times people are just sitting at the coffee shop surfing the net and their friend is sitting there watching whatever they are doing. Whats the point? Talk to the person and don't compose emails and surf the net.

Mobile phones has definitely gotten to be a necessary evil in our lives. Necessary because it keeps us in contact with whomever we need to be intouch with, evil, because of the same reason. But it really gets me when people talk loudly on the phone in public places, thinking that they are alone or something, especially when talking about some personal issues....you know what? I don't care if you have herpes! I don't care if you forgot to wipe your ass! Shut the heck up! And next time you talk in the movie theater, I am going to shove that phone so far up your ass that your head will ring!

This is why I try and spend some tech down time. No phone, no ipod, no laptop, no internet, nothing. Just me, my dog, my book and whatever quiet place I can find. Not even a park does, so lately I've decided to just chill on my front lawn.

Let's get back to the basics. A razor doesnt need batteries. Just need shaving gel, lather, and shave.

alienware alx

Alienware has come out with a 4ghz desktop super gaming machine. Since Intel doesn't yet make a 4ghz machine, this is an overclocked p4. They also have an AMD option. But still at over $4K, man, you really have to have money burn but also the need for speed. I can definitely see friends buying this super high end system because it has the liquid cooled cooler and plus its an alienware!

I will not have a review of this system, if there is one I will link to it. I'd love to be able to review this system, but oye vay!

Scent Stories

Here's a great product from Febreze. It looks like a small radio/cd player except it plays music and releases scents! How cool is that!?

Take a gander at it. I bet it wouldn't be too long before we have this type of player with smells of food, garbage, clothes, ass, you name it!

MSN launches music store beta

Microsoft finally launched a beta of their music store. Their homepage looks all cramped with all the types of music and artists and whatnot.

But here it is. Microsoft music store. You can also bet that it will work with most other players out there since most mp3 hdd based players play wma, unless you are going to use sony's music store.

I still like iTunes.

Yet another one down

Jessica Cutler, an ex mailroom clerk working on the Hill got fired recently. Reason? For having sex and blogging about it. To be more specific, she had sex with those on the Hill, in the Hill. She blogged, got caught, then got fired.

She has posed for Playboy, is writing a book, and currently screwing other guys. Yeesh. Is nothing sacred!

I'm too lazy to throw up a link, so just google it.

Yet another reason to not really post your personal stuff on a blog, even though that's what they are their for. I wonder if in the employment, there will now be a line stating, 'you will not post any information on a blog' or something along those lines.
